Western Australian Environment Awards 2008 Winner

Native Animals Sponsored

A number of our eco programmes include sponsorship of native animals at Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre (Inc), as the survival of our native animals is something that Daniel is wildly passionate about.

Kanyana is based at Gooseberry Hill, WA and is a not for profit organisation committed to the protection and welfare of native wildlife.

Kanyana is run entirely by volunteers from the local community, with the generous support of local business. Kanyana's aims are:

To rehabilitate sick, injured, orphaned and displaced wildlife.

To participate in the Department of Environment and Conservation's (DEC) Western Shield endangered species captive breeding program.

To provide education for the community about the need to preserve wildlife habitats and ecosystems, and to value wildlife as a resource for a healthier living planet.
