“PLANT MORE TREES!” –  Deborah Harris, Leda Swan Organic Winery.

In 2007 Leda Swan sponsored a package of 150 native trees (background to photo left) from Wildly Important Action Programs. They also adopted a native Chuddich from Kanyana Wildlife, facilitated by Wildly Important.

“We are very proud to be a part of the “Wildly Important Action Program” said Deborah Harris. We feel not only happy but in some sense relieved because we worry about the future of the planet, but at last we have found an easy way of doing our bit by sponsoring a native Chudditch and by planting trees.  Planting trees is the best thing we can do as individuals or as groups – PLANT MORE TREES!”

Leda Swan is home of wine maker Duncan and wife Deb Harris, Leda Swan is the only certified Organic winery in the Swan Valley.  Being only a small property of 2 hectares of vines adds to the unique character and soul of the wines.
